Privacy & Confidentiality

All case consultations are confidential. Your privacy and confidentiality are top priorities. For this reason your details will never be passed on to any third parties. This includes, spouses, family members, friends, and GPs, unless you express prior permission.

Your Role in Therapy

Should you opt to undergo treatment with me I ask that you apply yourself to our sessions and that you are forthcoming about any issues or concerns you may have. I am very much open to hear your concerns if they are affecting our working relationship or hinder the process of therapy. My goal is always the best for you within reason of my own limits and boundaries.

My Right to Refuse Treatment

I observe the right to refuse treatment to any individual who presents a potential threat to my safety or the safety of other staff at the business centre. Violent or aggressive behaviour and/or verbal abuse will not be tolerated. I also observe the right to refuse to treat anyone who has an expressed wish for a certain type of treatment if I believe that  treatment modality could be potentially harmful.

Your Right to Withdraw From Treatment

As a therapist I don't believe in keeping client's in contractually obligated treatment. You are permitted to withdraw from treatment any time you wish to do so. Your autonomy is something I respect and is your right to uphold. I humbly ask that in all good conscience you inform me of your decision to terminate therapy and your reasons for doing so.

Record Keeping

I am obligated by law to hold on to any records I keep with regards to your case for a minimum of 5 years. These include the initial consultation form and questionnaire, as well as any session notes. Unless required for legal proceedings your notes remain secure.

Refunds Policy

In accordance with the points outlined in the disclaimer, refunds will not be given for work already undertaken. All work is undertaken with the highest professional intentions. Refunds will, of course, be issued for any fees paid in advance should you wish to withdraw from treatment.
